Your Thanksgiving plan
- 4 days beforeMove the turkey to the fridge to thaw (about 1 day per 4 to 5 lb, or 2 kg). Shop with one list.
- 2 days beforeMake cranberry sauce and pie dough. Both get better overnight.
- The day beforeBake the pie. Cut bread for stuffing and assemble any casseroles. Cover and chill.
- The dayRoast the turkey to 165°F (74°C). While it rests, bake the sides and make the gravy.
- After dinnerChill leftovers within 2 hours. Eat them within 3 to 4 days.
Plan the whole day with Jude
Pick your dishes and ask Jude for one grocery list for all of them. Cook each one step by step with timers and safe temperatures, and ask him anything mid-step, even with a photo of the pan.
